Choosing a New Nonprofit CEO

This case study addresses issues in the recruitment and hiring of a new Chief Executive Officer. Conducted from an empirical perspective, the Policy Governance model was used as the methodology to study issues such as forming a selection committee and recruiting and hiring candidates based on how closely they replicate the outgoing CEO's strengths, or conversely, someone as different from the incumbent as possible.
